Junction 18 / Shruti Designs

Junction 18 Ltd / Shruti Designs are one of the UK’s largest design LED giftware & homeware manufacturers, selling into major retailers, independents, and supermarkets.

 

The Problem

Unfortunately, Shruti Designs experienced communication failure with their existing Express Courier provider, as well as uncompetitive pricing in the market, feeling like they were just another account number to their carrier. They experienced slow communication and poor service.

 

How We Helped

We were able to offer not only more competitive pricing through our Express Courier accounts, but also, we supported the brand with a dedicated account manager to ensure the smooth transit of urgent samples from Far East Asia.

By working closely with the J18 team, we managed the supply chain, working only in their best interests, on larger imports to position on either express or economy courier or air freight, depending on size and weight.

We helped J18 save 45% of their annual income by using our more cost-effective option of Express Courier services, whilst not compromising on service levels. We’re still as attentive as ever.

Sifcon International PLC is a leading supplier of gifts and interior accessories to retailers of all sizes. Catering to almost every department including Home, Garden, Kitchen, Bathroom, Baby, Pets, Arts & Crafts. Their core collection of established best sellers and bespoke options can be found at all major retailers, DIY & garden chains and supermarkets.

 

The Problem

Sifcon came to ITD with existing service and pricing issues with their current Express Courier. So, we stepped in with our wealth of industry expertise and cost-effective solutions.

 

How We Helped

By understanding Sifton’s volumes and profile, we were able to provide a two-pronged approach to importing their samples. For SMS or UK & European trade fairs, we worked closely with their team in providing a sample consolidation service allowing them to plan and coordinate better.

Throughout the year, we supplied and managed more competitive Express Courier rates than working directly with the carrier.

This resulted in both better communication with the courier and sample savings through the bi-weekly sample consolidation service from China. Annually, savings were upwards of 35%!

Wenrit Global

When Wenrit Global’s current supplier were unable to meet their requirements for larger parcels for their flatpack furniture and household items, ITD Global stepped in with the perfect solution.

The background

Our client are a fulfilment company with a wide range of Chinese clients, distributing flatpack furniture and household items in the UK from their warehouses. Their clients ship their goods from China and they sell on Amazon. Once product sells, they ship using Yodel services.

With an annual spend of £750k+, they fill 2-4 trailers on an average day – that’s approximately 2000 parcels per day.
