ITD are pleased to announce that they are adding an IDW delivery service for residential addresses into their portfolio of eCommerce parcel delivery services.
IDW stands for Irregular Dimensions & Weights. These are the kinds of consignments that require appropriate-sized vehicles to ensure safe, secure and successful delivery. IDW freight can now be catered for at ITD Global, including items up to a length of 3.2 metres on 1-man delivery services and up to 4m on 2-man delivery services.
If you specialise in irregular freight or perhaps you have some items of irregular size and weight within your retail portfolio, ITD Global’s new IDW service could prove invaluable.
Customers can select from two IDW services, depending on the size and weight of the package:
1-man IDW delivery
- Maximum Length of 3.2m
- Maximum Weight per Item of 50kg
- Maximum Weight per Consignment of 250kg
- Maximum Cube of 127kg per Item: This calculation is based on the dimensions of the package (Length x Depth x Height in centimetres) divided by 5,000.
2-man IDW delivery
- Maximum Length of 4m
- Maximum Weight per Item of 150kg
- Maximum Weight per Consignment of 350kg
- Maximum Cube of 600kg per Item: This calculation is based on the dimensions of the package (Length x Depth x Height in centimetres) divided by 5,000.
